Dear Readers and Friends,
Thanks for stopping by. I hope summer is treating you well. Before I tell you about what's new and the stories I have recently released, I'd like to apologize to those longtime and loyal readers who are so patiently waiting for the rest of the McKaslin 4, The McKaslins of Wyoming and the Buttons & Bobbins stories.
As a few of you know, I have had a dangerous stalker situation for many years now. It's the reason I have put my publishing on hold at Love Inspired for so long. I had hoped to release a few Christian titles this summer, but I have had to re-think that decision. The stalker is apparently an atheist and has threatened me if I release any Christian stories. Because a bullet is a quick thing, I am holding off on publishing those books for now. I am so sorry. I know it's been a long wait already. I hope it won't be too much longer of a wait. I appreciate your patience and understanding more than you know. Truly.
As for the books I have been writing, I've got a free e-book prequel to the McPhee Clan out at all major outlets. My Heart To Keep is a fun shorter book, and I hope you'll grab while it's free. Free is always good, right?
I've had many requests from readers for sweet versions of my regular romance historicals, and so I've created a Sweet Classics line of books. Sara is the first of the series, a gentle and heart-touching story and a sweet version of Sara's Gift. Book 5, Polly,is about to be released any day now. It's a fun and funny western historical and one of my favorites. I wrote it from my own experiences growing up in the country. I, too, can catch a fish and cook it over a campfire using local plants for seasoning. If you pick up the story, I hope it's a fun read for you too.
Also out is the most recent book in my sweet McKaslin Brothers series. Once In A Lifetime is Conner's book. Stoic and reserved Conner meets up with cheery real estate agent, Mia Stanton. How can he resist falling for her? It was a pleasure writing this gentle story. I hope it's just as good of a reading experience too.
And lastly, for my regular romance readers the next book in the You've Got Mail series is out. Special Delivery is Dee's story. A handsome and kind mail-order husband comes to town to marry the sweet and adorable Dee Carpenter, but he's simply too good to be true. There has to be something wrong with him, something he's running from, right? If you pick up this story, I hope you have as much fun with it as I did.
That's all for now. I hope you are having a wonderful summer, and thank you so much.
